Today's weather called for sitting on the balcony and watching the wildlife. This is something Liqueur and I do frequently but as of late, the rain and cold has kept us in.
We watch this particular squirrel on a regular basis. He visits the deck and the roof doing God knows what kind of damage to either. He has made my flower pots hiding places for his many winter snacks. Today he perched on a branch and began the arduous task of deflowering a black walnut. I was sure it would take a while so I sped upstairs for the camera and the long lens. I didn't take the time to look for the tripod which was probably a mistake but I managed to get a couple of good shots. If you click on the pictures, you can see them original size.
Um..ew.
